Dan Rather is leaving CBS...
He's apparently been unhappy since he, err, retired early after the Case of the Forged Killian Memos broke -- I don't know if he still considers them "fake but accurate*"
Apparently, he has succeeded in his exit strategy.
There will be a tribute to Rather on CBS News tonight. I'm wondering if it'll be fake but accurate.

* To be fair, while the substance of the "fake but accurate" excuse came from Rather, among other people, the actual term appears to have originated in a New York Times headline.
